A Fall Week In: Northville

Check out this perfect lineup for a weeks’ worth of festivities in Northville.

Monday: Tuscan Cafe — 150 N Center Street

Make a point to visit this charming, family-owned coffeehouse to kick-start your week. Attracting a steady flow of regulars, professionals on the go, and visitors alike, the pastries, sandwiches and coffee keep everyone coming back for more. We recommend a hot cup of Sumatra and the #9, better known as Michelle’s Only Wish.

Tuesday: Hines Drive — Downtown Northville to Dearborn

Although many are attracted to the history in the heart of downtown, one of Northville’s greatest attractions is the nearby Hines Drive. Travel all the way to Dearborn via bike, foot or car to experience spectacular autumn colors, a game of frisbee golf or just a bit of fresh air.

Wednesday: Adorn — 118 E Main Street

Mid-week pick-me-ups are always appreciated, especially when handcrafted with love by Alicia, Owner and Creative Director at Adorn. From restaurants to royals, Alicia has masterfully curated stunning bouquets for an awe-inspiring list of clientele truly making her mark as a floral artist. Pick up a bouquet or two for a friend, loved one or yourself between 10 AM and 5 PM everyday. Contactless delivery within 10 miles.

Thursday: Lucy and the Wolf —102 E Main Street

This intimate space brings the trifecta: food, drinks and atmosphere. Although happy hour is celebrated Tuesdays to Fridays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, we recommend coming any time for the watermelon salad.* Lucy and the Wolf now accommodates diners indoors and outdoors.

*Menu subject to change seasonally.

Friday: Tipping Point Theatre — 361 E Cady Street

In 2007, the company went from “vagabond” performances in any space available, to a full-fledged non-profit organization with a permanent residence in downtown Northville. Today, Tipping Point features jazz, comedy, special events and more. The theatre ended its 2019/2020 season early due to Covid-19. They look forward to welcoming patrons back once conditions are safe.

Saturday: Parmenter’s Cider Mill — 714 Baseline Road

A town favorite, Parmenter’s opens late August, drawing in cider and donut lovers from all over the state. Only open until mid-November, this Cider Mill is a must-visit when open for the season. We recommend a cider slush on warmer fall days, and a hot cider on crisp days. Spiced donuts recommended every day. Due to Covid-19, customers may only purchase treats at Parmenter’s while wearing a mask, via drive-thru service. They are open everyday 10am-8pm.

Sunday: Early Bird — 333 E Main Street

A weekend favorite in town, this diner boasts a warm and welcoming staff, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and mouth-watering pancakes. Early birds get the chow… and beat the crowds! Covid-19 update: the Early Bird has taken such precautions as operating at 50% capacity, they’ve spaced tables apart by 6 feet and increased cleaning procedures throughout the restaurant.
