Sunday: We all love a good breakfast to start our morning. There’s nothing like a stack of silver pancakes or a gigantic Belgian waffle complete with a sweet syrupy topping. But have you ever wondered where the yummy maple goodness breakfast staple in your bottle comes from? Well, grab the kids and head to Northville’s Maybury Farm for its annual Making Syrup Tours! Take a hayride to the Maple tree grove, tap the trees, bring sap back to evaporator and watch how maple syrup is made. After the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase any of the Pure Michigan Maple Syrups that also come with free recipes for you to try at home. Fun for the whole family!
Monday: As the leaves come out and the flowers bloom, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the many hiking and biking trails around metro Detroit. Voted one of the best, Hines Park in Northville has scenic views and a great series of trails to get out and enjoy the fresh air!
